Section 13
Work, Duties and Powers of the Academic Council
The work, duties and powers of the Academic Council shall be as follows:- (a) To determine the curriculum of the University,
(b) Carrying out necessary work related to transfer of course load (credit transfer) and accumulation of course load (credit accumulation), (c) Formulating and approving academic and research related policies and programs of the university, (d) Eligibility and basis for admission to various educational programs run by the university. , Determining faculty change method, learning evaluation method and type of examination, (e) Doing necessary work to maintain educational quality, (f) Recommending in the assembly to award various degrees provided by the university, (g) Determining equivalence of degrees received from other educational institutions, h) Giving opinions and advice to other bodies of the university on academic and research matters, (j) Doing other tasks as specified.
